The 1st IES School Meeting for International Students for 2014-2015 academic year was held at B416 No. III Classroom Building on Sept. 23, 2014, with attendance of all international students, Mr. Guoping Fan, Deputy Dean of International Education School and Mr. Lantao Li, International Student Coordinator.
Mr. Fan delivered his speech opening with the best wishes to all international students from Dean of IES, Prof. Jian Cheng. Mr. Fan emphasized some important points concerning the aspects of study, life and daily businesses in China and Hebei University of Economics and Business, encouraging them to working hard, living well and abiding by China’s laws and School Regulations.
Mr. Li gave them the details about laws, academic transcript management, school regulations, public security, and information about VISA and Medical Insurance management. In the end, he announced the decision by IES that the school is going to organize a football team.
This meeting is very useful and rewarding to all international students to help them learn and live comfortably at Hebei University of Economics and Business.
