On January 9th, the Final Meeting for the First Semester of 2016-2017 Academic Year was held at the Media-Meeting Room. Prof. WANG Chengyun,Dean of IES, Prof.ZHANG Xiying,Deputy Dean of IES， Prof.HE Yi,Deputy Dean of IES, International Student Management staff members and all international students attended the meeting.Mr. ZHANG Wei chaired the meeting.
Ms. ZHANG Xiying，Deputy Dean of IES， firstly introduced the Dean of IES, Mr. WANG Chengyun. Mr WANG then delivered his speech and extended cordial greetings to international students as the Spring Festival is approaching. He stressed the importance of safety and expressed the New Year expectations. He encourages international students to work hard, actively participate in activities,obey the rules and regulations and have a happy learning in China. Mr. LI Lantao stressed relavent affairs about winter holiday. He gave specific explaining on leave application, safety on dormitory and going out, electricity subsidy ect. and also reported new requirements on residence permit.
Winter holiday is coming. The class meeting held before the winter vacation is good to strengthen international student safety management and arrange the affairs. These acts have raised the international students’ awareness of safety and inspired them to work hard.
