The 2nd IES School Meeting for International Students for 2014-2015 academic year was held at MBA-1 Classroom on Nov. 18, 2014, with attendance of all international students, Mr. Guoping Fan, Deputy Dean of International Education School and Mr. Lantao Li, International Student Coordinator.
Mr. Fan first gave positive comments on recent activities for international students and announced the activities to be held. In order to help new students get accustomed to learning and living at HUEB, International Education School has launched some recreational activities and visits. Moreover, the school will lead the IES football team to fight a friendship game with another team and hold a new year celebration show. Those efforts are all due to create opportunities for international students to show and share their culture. Mr. Fan finalized his speech with some answers to questions of VISA, insurance and tuition fees. Mr. Li briefed the recent management of international students’ study and living, such as class attendance rate, leave application and dormitory environment. In the end, he introduced the timetable for preparation work of new year celebration show.
The international students have learned some important information about their study and living that will make it easier for them to learn and stay at HUEB.
